Carphone Warehouse and Marketyze

Carphone Warehouse is a mobile phone retailer, with over 1,700 stores across Europe. Founded in London in 1989, it is now the world's largest independent mobile phone store.
In 2014, executives from Carphone Warehouse came to the Israel Future Retail Innovation Day in London. There they met with Onn Manelson, the CEO and Co-Founder of Marketyze.
Marketyze’s ecommerce analytics provides retailers the capabilities to make informed decisions based on their competitive landscape. The platform analyses prices, promotions, brands and categories across the retailers’ entire competitive landscape including their impact on the retailer’s ability to compete.
Following this initial meeting, conversations developed over the next few months where the opportunity was identified. This resulted in Marketyze working with Carphone Warehouse, providing them with insight in the pricing of mobile devices across Carphone Warehouse’s leading markets throughout Europe, helping them make the necessary price adjustments.
This new relationship not only gives Carphone Warehouse the competitive edge, leading the market, but also ensures that European consumers will always be offered the best possible deal.

Cimagine Media has created the world’s first true markerless augmented reality platform, allowing customers to visualise how items of furniture would fit into and look in their homes at a click of a button without the need to print a reference marker and place it on the floor.
Following the meeting in Israel, conversations ensued between Shop Direct and Cimagine Media, resulting in several cycles in Shop Direct’s user experience lab in order to fine-tune Cimagine’s solution for use by British consumers. Recently they created the world’s largest live implementation of augmented reality in e-commerce, with over 1000 chairs, sofas and tables that can be viewed by Littlewoods’ customers in their own surroundings.
